Boman Irani comments humorously on Donald Trump's proposed peace talks with Iranians, suggesting a casual meeting instead.

The ongoing conflict in West Asia, particularly involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, has impacted various regions including the United Arab Emirates and India, despite their lack of direct involvement. Recently, amidst claims that former United States President Donald Trump is seeking to engage in peace talks with Iranian representatives, actor Boman Irani took to social media to share a light-hearted take on the situation.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Boman Irani jokingly offered to assist in brokering peace alongside Indian politicians Smriti Irani and Aruna Irani. He captioned the video, “The Iranis are ready for peace talks with Mr. Donald Trump.” In the clip, he stated, “So, as you may know, it’s going viral that Mr Donald Trump wants to speak to the Iranis. And three people have been beckoned. Talks are happening with Smriti ji, Aruna Irani ji, and me, Boman Irani. So, I am ready. I am ready to do anything for peace.”

However, Boman also made a humorous request, saying, “I have only one problem, I won’t go to Washington. I think it would be best if Trump sahab and his delegation come to Dadar Parsi Colony. We'll feed them dhansak, custard and other food. But if they bring along a big gas cylinder, I think it’ll make life very smooth for all of us.” He ended the video with a playful smile and a thumbs up gesture.

Boman's comedic approach elicited laughter from various fans and colleagues. Sameera Reddy commented with “Epicccc” followed by laughter emojis, while Siddharth responded with, “Bigly of you sir,” accompanied by a salute emoji. Other celebrities, including Farhan Akhtar and Ricky Kej, also expressed their amusement in the comments. Suzanne Bernert, a German-born actor, praised Boman’s sense of humour by commenting, “Boman...too good yaar.”

Additionally, Allu Arjun’s wife, Allu Sneha Reddy, and actress Priyamani were among those who liked the post. Culinary enthusiast Kunal Vijaykar humorously asked if he could join the peace talks, saying, “Hahahahahah. Can I also come…. Not for Trump… just for the Dhansak and Custer!!”

The engaging video sparked a variety of reactions, including one user who suggested sharing the video with their Iranian friends, stating, “Good one. I'm sending this to all my Iranian friends.”

Boman Irani, known for various film roles, made his directorial debut in 2025 with the project, The Mehta Boys, and has played significant roles in films such as Detective Sherdil and Tanvi the Great. He started the new year with a role in The Raja Saab alongside actor Prabhas, and he has upcoming projects including Raja Shivaji with Riteish Deshmukh, and Khosla Ka Ghosla 2.
