NIA Conducts Raids in Jammu & Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh Amid Delhi Blast Investigation

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has executed a series of raids across Jammu & Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh as part of its ongoing investigation into the Delhi car bomb explosion. The operation, which took place on Monday, involved searches at nine locations, with a focus on gathering evidence related to the attack.

According to a statement released by the NIA, the raids resulted in the seizure of various digital devices and other materials deemed incriminating. Eight locations were searched in the Jammu & Kashmir districts of Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama, and Awantipora, while a single location was targeted in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

These recent searches follow earlier operations carried out on 26th and 27th November at the premises of key suspects, Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganie and Dr Shaheen Saeed, within the Al Falah University complex and other sites in Faridabad, Haryana. During those searches, the NIA confiscated a substantial amount of cash, foreign currency, gold, and other pertinent materials that are currently under detailed examination. This scrutiny aims to uncover the conspiracy behind the explosion that took place on November 10 near the historic Red Fort in Delhi.

The NIA has reported the arrest of seven individuals identified as key suspects related to the case, designated RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI. Following these arrests, NIA teams are actively interrogating the suspects while pursuing various leads associated with the bombing, which tragically resulted in the deaths of eleven individuals and left many others injured.

The anti-terror agency has affirmed its commitment to collaborating closely with state police forces to ensure that all members of the terrorist module implicated in the attack are apprehended. As investigations continue, the NIA aims to piece together the events leading up to the bombing and ensure justice for the victims.

The agency's ongoing efforts reflect a broader strategy to address and dismantle terrorist networks operating within India, particularly those that pose threats to public safety and national security.
