Accenture Reports 6% Revenue Growth Driven by AI Innovations
Accenture's revenue reaches $18.74 billion, propelled by AI advancements and new bookings of $20.94 billion in the latest quarter.

Accenture, a prominent global IT services firm, announced a revenue increase of 6 per cent, totalling $18.74 billion for the quarter ending November 2025. This performance exceeded market expectations and fell within the company's projected range of $18.1 billion to $18.75 billion, largely attributed to the growing impact of artificial intelligence (AI) across its services.

The reported quarter marks the first of Accenture’s fiscal year, which spans from September 1 to November 30. During this period, the company recorded new bookings amounting to $20.94 billion, reflecting a 12 per cent rise in US dollars compared to the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. Within these new bookings, consulting services contributed $9.88 billion, while managed services accounted for $11.06 billion.

Accenture's Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) operating margin stood at 15.3 per cent, representing a decline of 140 basis points from the 16.7 per cent margin reported in the first quarter of the prior fiscal year.

In light of the ongoing expansion in AI capabilities, Accenture has initiated layoffs, reducing its workforce by over 11,000 positions within three months. Julie Sweet, Accenture’s Chair and Chief Executive Officer, expressed satisfaction with the company's performance, stating, "I am very pleased with our $21 billion in new bookings, including 33 clients with quarterly bookings greater than $100 million. We also strengthened our leadership in advanced AI and deepened our ecosystem partnerships to help clients realise value."

Looking ahead, the company anticipates full-year revenue growth between 2 per cent and 5 per cent in local currency. Accenture's advanced AI new bookings are reported at $2.2 billion. During the earnings call, Sweet indicated that this would be the last quarter for detailed metrics on advanced AI, noting the rapid maturation of demand for these technologies. "We've now reached a point where advanced AI is being embedded in some way across nearly everything we do. Many of our clients are focusing on moving beyond stand-alone proofs of concept or initiatives," she added.

Accenture is set to promote 15,000 employees in India and 50,000 globally in June as part of its ongoing workforce development initiatives. As of December 18, 2025, the company employs approximately 784,000 individuals worldwide, with a considerable number based in India, underscoring the country's significance in Accenture's global operations.
