World Athletics Championships 2023: Highlights and Medal Tally

The World Athletics Championships 2023 concluded recently in Budapest, Hungary, showcasing a series of thrilling events and remarkable performances by athletes from around the globe.

This year’s championships featured 49 medal events and attracted over 2,000 athletes representing 200 nations. The competition took place from 19 to 27 August 2023, drawing significant attention from fans and media worldwide.

Among the standout performances was that of American athlete Sydney McLaughlin, who defended her title in the women’s 400m hurdles. McLaughlin finished with a world record time of 50.68 seconds, solidifying her position as a leader in the sport.
