Vicky Kaushal praises Katrina Kaif for her resilient approach to motherhood and parenting their son, Vihaan, calling her a true warrior and superhero.

Actor Vicky Kaushal has expressed his admiration for his wife, Katrina Kaif, highlighting her remarkable resilience during her pregnancy and her current role as a mother. Kaushal referred to her as a true 'warrior' and 'superhero' while managing the responsibilities of caring for their three-month-old son, Vihaan.

Vicky Kaushal attended an awards ceremony held by The Hollywood Reporter India in Mumbai, where he was asked by close friend Neha Dhupia about fatherhood. In response, he praised Katrina's strength and dedication, stating, 'It feels great (to be a dad). He is three months old right now, there's very little a dad has to do when the baby is three months old. I’m just trying to be a cheerleader for the mother and the child and I’m waiting for him to grow up so I can contribute more.'

He continued to speak highly of Katrina, stating, 'Right now, the mother is being the superhero and she has been a warrior through her pregnancy and she has been a warrior as a mother as well. I’m so incredibly proud of her and I love her so much.'

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal welcomed their son in November last year, sharing the news with a heartfelt social media post that read, 'Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy.' The couple announced their son’s name, Vihaan Kaushal, on January 7.

Vicky and Katrina married in an intimate ceremony on December 9, 2021, at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, keeping their relationship largely private until their wedding.

In a recent interview with GQ India, Vicky reflected on fatherhood, noting that it evokes a variety of new emotions daily. He remarked, 'It’s too soon for me to analyse. Every day, a new emotion hits. You surrender to this in a way you’ve never surrendered to anything.' He described the experience as 'grounding' and acknowledged it as a feeling he found difficult to articulate and one he was unprepared for.

On the professional front, Vicky Kaushal recently starred in one of India’s highest-grossing films, 'Chhaava,' which has grossed ₹807 crore worldwide. He is set to feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film 'Love & War,' alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif was last seen in the film 'Merry Christmas.'
