Trisha Krishnan Faces Fan Frenzy After Vijay's Swearing-In
Actor Trisha Krishnan was mobbed by fans and media following Vijay's swearing-in as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in Chennai.

Actor Trisha Krishnan became the focus of attention at the swearing-in ceremony of actor-turned-politician Vijay, who was recently inaugurated as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The ceremony occurred on Sunday, May 10, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai after Vijay's party achieved a significant victory in the 2026 Assembly elections.

Trisha attended the event alongside her mother, Uma Krishnan, and occupied a seat near Vijay's family and other distinguished guests. Her presence quickly ignited discussions on social media, coinciding with circulating reports concerning her relationship with Vijay.

As the ceremony concluded, the atmosphere turned hectic as Trisha attempted to exit the stadium. A large crowd consisting of fans and journalists encircled her, with many attempting to solicit her thoughts on Vijay's new role. Despite the overwhelming attention, Trisha maintained her composure and smiled her way through the throng of admirers. Video footage taken at the scene showcases the intensity of the crowd.

Trisha, clad in an elegant teal and gold saree, paired with a cream blouse featuring gold embroidery, elevated her look with jasmine flowers in her hair, a diamond-ruby choker, and subtle makeup. In contrast to the frenzy surrounding her exit, she opted to remain silent, choosing to leave without addressing the media.

On the professional front, Trisha is anticipated to appear in the film Karuppu, which also stars actor Suriya. The movie, directed by RJ Balaji, is scheduled to be released in cinemas on May 14. Meanwhile, Vijay's upcoming project, Jana Nayagan, is currently delayed due to an ongoing dispute with the Central Board of Film Certification regarding certification issues.
