Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia in October 2024, the two countries have taken moves to improve their bilateral relations.

Senior officials from the two sides review the situation along the Line of Actual Control in the India-China border areas.

The two countries should be partners that contribute to each other's success, says the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
