Temple Wearable Claims Superior Heart Rate Accuracy Over Competitors
Deepinder Goyal’s Temple wearable is said to outperform Apple Watch in heart rate tracking accuracy during workouts, according to recent tests.

Deepinder Goyal, the founder of Temple, has asserted that his company’s latest wearable device surpasses competitors such as the Apple Watch in heart rate tracking accuracy. According to Goyal, the Temple device not only excels in variety but especially shines during intense physical activities. He claims that its innovative design, which adheres to the temple region of the head, contributes significantly to its precision.

In conducting tests, the Temple team used the Polar H10 chest strap as a benchmark against five leading wearable devices, highlighting its performance during vigorous exercise. The unique architecture of the Temple wearable is designed to facilitate accurate measurements by utilising an adhesive method, ensuring that the device remains securely positioned even under the strain of movement.

“Our tests show that the Temple wearable consistently delivers more reliable heart rate data than other popular fitness trackers,” Goyal stated. He further emphasised the importance of accurate heart rate tracking for fitness enthusiasts and professionals alike, underscoring its critical role in optimising performance.

The company has positioned its product as a game-changer for individuals looking to monitor their heart health more effectively. The Temple wearable is currently available for pre-orders in India, priced at ₹85,000. Interested consumers can place orders through the company’s app or website, with products expected to ship approximately three months after the order is placed.

Temple’s innovative approach not only aims to enhance user experience but also seeks to set new standards in wearable technology. The device is designed to track physiological changes linked to stress, exercise, and recovery, providing users with insights to better manage their health.

As the wearable technology market grows, competition heightens, compelling companies to innovate in ways that meaningfully enhance user experience. Temple stands out in its commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology in health monitoring.
