Taapsee Pannu Discusses Private Wedding with Mathias Boe

Taapsee Pannu, the prominent Bollywood actress, recently shared insights into her private wedding to former Danish badminton player Mathias Boe, which took place in March 2023 in Udaipur. The intimate ceremony included only a few close friends and family members, avoiding the typical celebrity spectacle.

In a candid conversation with Nayandeep Rakshit on his YouTube channel, Pannu elaborated on her reasons for refraining from public announcements about her marriage. "I’ve always kept my personal and professional lives apart," Pannu stated, underlining her desire for privacy. She expressed that sharing details of personal events feels odd to her, emphasising the significance of keeping such moments private.

Despite efforts to restrict photography and videography during the event, a video from the wedding was leaked, which the actress described as embarrassing. Pannu remarked, "I wanted to be respectful enough to not take away their phones. That’s very childish. I would want to believe that those people will value it when I’m cordially telling them that… please don’t post them."

She highlighted another aspect of her concern about sharing personal moments publicly—the scrutiny faced by her husband, who does not actively seek the same level of public attention. "It’s not just about me. It’s about a lot of other people, including my husband... he’s open to the kind of scrutiny I’m used to."

Taapsee Pannu has received acclaim for her roles in films such as "Pink," "Thappad," and "Assi," the latter of which is a recent courtroom drama directed by Anubhav Sinha. No stranger to intense roles, she has also starred in the action-thriller "Gandhari," where she portrays a mother searching for her kidnapped daughter.
