Realme Unveils Harry Potter Edition 16 Pro Smartphone in India

Realme has introduced a special edition of its 16 Pro 5G smartphone themed after the Harry Potter franchise, now available in India. Known as the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition, this variant showcases a design inspired by Hogwarts and offers custom software features, while maintaining the original model’s specifications.

The smartphone is retailing at ₹62,999 in India and comes in a single configuration of 12GB RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage. Its exterior is available in a Magic Brown finish, adorned with a distinctive design that includes an argyle pattern reminiscent of Wizard's Chess along with the Hogwarts Crest and Harry Potter branding at the back.

Included with the phone is a collector’s box that contains an assortment of themed items: a Hogwarts acceptance letter, a train ticket, bookmarks featuring the Hogwarts Crest, character postcards, a case embossed with Hogwarts imagery, and a phone pin.

In addition to its Harry Potter-inspired aesthetics, the smartphone features several playful software customisations. Users will find customised app icons, themed wallpapers, and unique icons in the Theme Store, including a Sorting Hat symbol. The calculator app has also been redesigned, inspired by Platform Nine and Three Quarters.

Despite these additions, the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition retains the important technical specifications of the standard model. The device sports a 6.78-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 200MP primary rear camera complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide camera, as well as a 50MP front camera for selfies. The smartphone is equipped with a robust 7,000mAh battery and supports 80W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4. The device runs on Realme UI 7.0, built on the Android 16 operating system.

The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition is set to be sold through Flipkart as well as Realme's official retail channels throughout India. Alongside this launch, Realme has expanded its partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, demonstrating its commitment to creating themed devices for fans of popular franchises, marking another step in their innovative approach to consumer electronics.
