Rashmika Mandanna Suffers Hip Injury During Dance Shoot
Rashmika Mandanna, the Indian actress known for her roles in action films, has recently experienced a significant hip injury during filming for her latest project, Mysaa. The injury occurred while she was performing demanding dance routines, resulting in a tendon detachment that necessitated immediate medical attention. Following the incident, the actress was taken to a hospital where she received urgent care.
Medical professionals have recommended that Rashmika observe a complete rest period of six weeks, along with a structured rehabilitation programme to aid her recovery. Consequently, her ongoing and upcoming projects, including the films Ranabaali and Mysaa, are likely to face delays.
In a recent update shared via Instagram, Rashmika reflected on her health status and the challenges posed by her injury. "Injuries suck.. and I was really hoping that no one will get to know.. but well. Sorry I've been MIA but hieeee! I'm hereeee!" she wrote, addressing her fans.
She elaborated on the nature of her injury, explaining how one of the four tendons connecting her hip to her leg had detached. "... that has to attach again, for me to be able to lift my leg up and stuff... and this happened during my dance shoot for Mysaa.. my god that's the most aggressive film I've ever done for sure!" Rashmika conveyed in her post.
Despite the setback, the actress expressed a positive outlook, stating, "But don't worry.. it hurts but it's not unbearable or something." Her light-hearted commentary indicated that she interprets her injury as a sign from a higher power to take a break she might not have otherwise taken. Rashmika mentioned the random nature of her injuries as "freak accidents," adding a touch of humour to her situation.
As she recovers at home, Rashmika is using her time to engage in hobbies such as completing puzzles, which she found quite enjoyable. However, she also voiced concerns about maintaining her fitness during her recovery. "... if I can't workout then what do I doooo.. I eat.. and I become a dessert monster.. so uh hoooo!" she joked.
Rashmika concluded her message with reassurances to her followers, sending out “Biggest loves and kisses and hugs!” As fans rally behind her during this challenging time, the entertainment community wishes Rashmika a swift and smooth recovery from her injury.
