Indian film actor Ram Charan is on the road to recovery following recent hand surgery, which was performed at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The actor sustained the injury while filming an action sequence for his upcoming movie, titled 'Peddi'. Despite his injury, he initially delayed the surgery to fulfil promotional obligations for the film.

A photo taken from his hospital bed has since gone viral, depicting Ram Charan smiling and posing alongside the medical team. As the news of his successful operation circulated, Vriddhi Cinemas, the production house behind 'Peddi', released a statement. The hand surgery was led by Dr. S. Rajasekharan and included specialists such as Dr. Alessandro Badia and Dr. Praveen Bharadwaj.
