In the latest Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi discusses India's achievements in aviation, agriculture, and youth innovation during November 2025.

NEW DELHI: In the November edition of his monthly radio address, Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed that the month has been filled with inspiration and significant achievements for India. During the 128th episode, he reflected on notable events and advancements that took place in November 2025, including milestones in the aviation sector and agricultural production.

Prime Minister Modi noted a major development in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector of aviation, highlighting the inauguration of the world's largest LEAP engine MRO facility in Hyderabad. He also mentioned the recent induction of INS Mahe into the Indian Navy in Mumbai, calling it a testament to India's growing capabilities in defence and technology.

"India has taken a major step in maintenance, repair, and overhaul in the aviation sector. Last week, INS Mahe was inducted into the Indian Navy in Mumbai. All this has become a reflection of Bharat's new ideas, innovation, and youth power," he stated.

The Prime Minister praised a team of young innovators from Pune for their participation in a unique drone competition organised by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The event involved flying drones under conditions similar to those on Mars, which showcased the resilience and ingenuity of India's youth. He shared, "A few days ago, a video on social media caught my attention. Our country's youth, especially our Gen-Z, were attempting to fly drones in Martian-like conditions. After several attempts, this team's drone managed to fly for some time in the conditions of Mars."

Reflecting on the challenges faced during India's space missions, PM Modi drew a parallel to the recent successes following setbacks. He recalled the moment when communication was lost with the Vikram lander during the Chandrayaan-2 mission in 2019, a situation that demoralised many. However, he noted that this setback led to the eventual success of Chandrayaan-3, highlighting the determination and strength of India's scientific community and youth.

The Prime Minister's monthly address has become a key platform for fostering engagement with citizens both domestically and internationally. Through Mann Ki Baat, he shares insights on various national issues, promotes grassroots initiatives, and encourages dialogue on developmental and social matters. The previous episode, aired on October 26, marked the programme's 127th edition, where he celebrated India's coffee sector's growing global recognition and acknowledged citizen-driven efforts in cleanliness and sustainability.

PM Modi also lauded several public welfare initiatives, including a unique project in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, known as the 'Garbage Café', where meals are exchanged for plastic waste. He emphasised the role of the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in enhancing the presence of indigenous dog breeds in their operations, reflecting a commitment to promoting local capabilities.

Since its inception in October 2014, Mann Ki Baat has evolved into a powerful platform for highlighting inspiring grassroots efforts, raising awareness on critical issues such as environmental conservation, digital literacy, and women's empowerment. The programme often catalyses significant public participation and community-driven movements, reinforcing the Prime Minister's call for a more engaged and proactive citizenry in India's development journey.
