Operation Sindoor Civil–Military Teamwork ka Behtareen Udaharan: LBSNAA Mein Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has described Operation Sindoor as a powerful example of civil–military fusion, highlighting how coordinated action between armed forces and civil administration can strengthen national security. His remarks came during the valedictory ceremony of the 100th Common Foundation Course at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), where he addressed newly inducted civil servants.
Speaking to the young officers, Singh said that the success of Operation Sindoor — launched in response to a terror attack — was not only the result of military precision but also of effective support from civil administration. He said this synergy helped ensure smooth information flow, crisis coordination and public confidence during the operation.
The Defence Minister added that India’s response was “balanced and non-escalatory”, targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He noted that continued “misbehaviour” by the neighbouring country had prevented the border situation from stabilising, but praised the armed forces for delivering decisive results.
Singh also pointed out that civil servants play a crucial role in organising nationwide mock drills and maintaining preparedness, making them vital partners in India’s security ecosystem. He urged the new officers to embrace technology, transparency and public-centric governance, saying these principles would shape India’s rise as a developed nation by 2047.
His remarks echo recent statements from top military leaders who praised Operation Sindoor for its coordinated strikes and precision planning. Across various reports, military chiefs have called the mission an example of teamwork, “synergy,” and execution that hit multiple targets within minutes.
