Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to Miss AI Impact Summit in India
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, has cancelled his attendance at the upcoming AI Impact Summit in India, citing unforeseen circumstances.

Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang will not attend the India AI Impact Summit scheduled for February 17, 2026, as confirmed by the company in an announcement made on Saturday, February 14. His absence is noteworthy as he was expected to be a key speaker at the event, which will see participation from significant leaders in the global technology and political sectors.

The summit, anticipated to draw substantial attention, will be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Huang was also slated to address the media in New Delhi on the same day. However, Nvidia's media agency, MSL, conveyed through email that Huang is unable to travel due to ā€œunforeseen circumstances.ā€

The AI Impact Summit has been themed around exploring the implications of artificial intelligence across various sectors and is expected to feature numerous discussions led by experts and industry leaders on the latest advancements in AI technology. The event aims to bring together influential voices to deliberate on the future of AI in India and globally.

Huang's absence raises questions about the potential impact on the summit, given Nvidia's prominence in the technology sector, specifically in the field of artificial intelligence and graphics processing units.

As the summit approaches, organisers are likely to adapt their agenda in light of Huang's non-attendance. Nvidia remains a cornerstone company in AI development, and its technologies are integral to many innovations reshaping the industry.
