Mohamed Salah Moves Closer to Transfer to Trabzonspor
Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah is nearing a transfer to Trabzonspor after agreeing on a two-season contract, pending final approval.

Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah is on the brink of joining Trabzonspor, marking a significant step in his career. After leaving Liverpool at the conclusion of last season, Salah has settled on the Turkish club for the current summer transfer window. Throughout his nine years at Liverpool, Salah became a notable figure, securing multiple titles including the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.

Recent reports have indicated that Salah’s agreement involves a two-season contract. The deal is nearly complete but hinges on one remaining clause that requires Trabzonspor's final approval. Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, through his social media account, confirmed that the player has indeed agreed to the terms to join the club.

Salah’s potential transfer has faced a variety of speculations, as he has been linked to several clubs, including Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, and Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, as well as Besiktas and Trabzonspor in Turkey. Initially, negotiations with Besiktas posed challenges, leading to interest from Al-Ittihad. However, the Egyptian star has expressed a preference for Trabzonspor due to the club's compelling approach.

As discussions have progressed, Trabzonspor officials are now looking for Salah's final confirmation. Reports from the Turkish newspaper '61 Saat' highlight that Salah’s first request was for part of his salary to be received in advance, a request that has been accommodated by the club. To expedite the process, Trabzonspor intends to send a private plane to Greece shortly to facilitate Salah’s travel to Istanbul for the necessary paperwork.

The excitement surrounding Salah's arrival is palpable among Trabzonspor fans, with the club's management preparing a warm reception upon his arrival. Should the transfer be completed, Trabzonspor aims to focus on bolstering their attacking options, as they seek additional reinforcements in light of their concerns regarding the current striking capabilities of Paul Onuachu.

With this move, Trabzonspor would become the seventh club in Salah’s professional journey, which has included playing for Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab in Egypt, Basel in Switzerland, and several notable teams in Italy and England, including Chelsea and Roma. Salah's next chapter is eagerly anticipated, as fans await confirmation of his official signing.
