The documents also indicate that a stamp duty of ₹30,819 and registration charges of ₹1,000 were duly paid.

Bandra West is known for its vibrant lifestyle and as a prominent location within Mumbai’s real estate market. It boasts a mix of luxury accommodations, cultural vibrancy, and significant investment potential. The area features an array of upscale retail outlets, fine dining establishments, and popular gathering spots such as Carter Road and Bandstand. Many Bollywood celebrities, including notable figures such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan, also reside in Bandra, adding to its allure.

Local property brokers have stated that the price per square foot for apartments in several prime buildings within this locality is approximately ₹1 lakh per square foot.

Mehul R Thakkar, a journalist based in Mumbai with experience covering real estate, noted the unique housing dynamics in the city. He stated that while residents aspire to own homes in Mumbai, the reality often sees many of them spending minimal time in these residences due to lengthy commutes and demanding professional lives.

The sustained interest in Mumbai's real estate is reflected in the broader market trends, as evidenced by property registrations remaining consistent, even amid fluctuations in stamp duty collections.

Malaika Arora's decision to lease her apartment marks another development in the ever-evolving landscape of luxury property rentals in Mumbai.
