Kirti Kulhari Victim of Credit Card Fraud, Loses Rs 2.44 Lakh
Bollywood actor Kirti Kulhari faces cybercrime after Rs 2.44 lakh stolen via her credit card from overseas transactions without her knowledge.

Kirti Kulhari, a prominent actress in Bollywood, has reported a significant loss following a credit card fraud incident. The misuse of her credit card resulted in transactions amounting to Rs 2.44 lakh, raising concerns about cybercrime affecting public figures.

The incident transpired while Kulhari was enjoying a movie at a multiplex in Andheri West, Mumbai, on the night of July 24. During her outing, she received an alert from her bank regarding foreign transactions. Alarmingly, it was revealed that her card details were used to book flights costing a total of US$2,525 to Aeromexico Airlines.

Realising the seriousness of the situation, Kulhari promptly contacted her bank's customer service, where she discovered that four unauthorized transactions had been processed using her credit card. The bank took immediate action to block her card to prevent further misuse.

Authorities are currently investigating the case, with the Amboli Police in Mumbai having registered a complaint against unknown individuals for the fraud. An early study indicated that the actress had not disclosed her Personal Identification Number (PIN) or any sensitive banking information, leading investigators to suspect that her credit card details were obtained through technical means rather than direct access.

As the investigation continues, the police and cyber security experts are analysing her banking history and transaction data to pinpoint the source of the breach. This incident underscores the increasing prevalence of cybercrime and its impact on individuals across various professions, including the entertainment industry.

In her professional sphere, Kirti Kulhari is striving forward with new projects. Recently, she announced the completion of her debut feature film as a producer, signifying a new chapter in her career. Besides her work in film, she has appeared in several well-known projects, including 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', 'Mission Mangal', and 'Four More Shots Please!'.

Kulhari's personal life has also captured attention; she is currently dating actor Rajeev Siddhartha, who shares screen space with her in 'Four More Shots Please!'. Their relationship became public earlier this year via social media.
