Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan Shine at Manish Malhotra's Diwali Party
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have once again become the centre of attention, this time at fashion designer Manish Malhotra's annual Diwali party in Mumbai. Following their much-publicised appearance on 'Koffee With Karan', the couple attended the intimate gathering, which featured a select group of friends and colleagues from the film industry.
Kareena Kapoor embraced a signature look by Manish Malhotra, donning a stunning champagne sequinned saree. This elegant outfit showcased an intricate design composed of closely arranged circular sequins, lending it a reflective metallic appearance. The muted gold hue of the saree contributed to its elegant aesthetic, with the drape styled in an open manner rather than in pleats. To complement the saree, Kareena opted for a halter-neck blouse embellished with delicate straps and a striking plunging neckline, which allowed the dramatic saree to take centre stage.
The actress's makeup was equally stunning, featuring bronzed skin, a hint of blush, and a glossy nude-peach lip. Kareena enhanced her eyes with dark kohl and smoky eyeshadow, creating a captivating look with defined lashes. Her long, dark brown hair was styled simply with a side part, falling smoothly over her shoulders, which harmonised beautifully with the saree without overwhelming it.
Kareena's choice of accessories was minimal yet sophisticated, adding sparkling stud earrings and delicate rings to her ensemble, while forgoing a statement necklace to keep the focus on the beautifully designed blouse and saree.
Her husband, Saif Ali Khan, complemented her look with a navy blue kurta paired with white trousers. The simplicity of his outfit contrasted well with Kareena's intricate styling, ensuring that both appeared elegantly festive.
The Diwali celebration also saw several prominent figures from the film fraternity. Notable attendees included Nita Ambani, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ananya Birla, and Twinkle Khanna. Actors Akshay Kumar and his son Aarav Kumar, along with Suhana Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, were also present, each showcasing their own stunning outfits in honour of the festive occasion. The gathering, while exclusive, reflected a vibrant celebration of talent and friendship within the film industry, marking another memorable event in Mumbai's cultural calendar.
