The Kardashians Season 8 Set to Premiere with New Storylines

The Kardashian-Jenner family is poised to return for the eighth season of their popular reality series on Hulu. The show will make its debut on 8 October 2023, following an earlier announcement about its premiere date.

The trailer released by Hulu highlights various themes, including new romantic relationships, family dynamics, and personal health challenges. Among the notable moments, Kim Kardashian discusses her battle with esophagitis, stating, "I have something called esophagitis," while being styled for the cameras. She later reflects on her late father, Robert Kardashian, who also suffered from the condition.

In the trailer, Kris Jenner, who is known for her role as the family's manager, expresses her concerns about family and the well-being of her children. "Life is just really precious. And I worry if my kids are going to slip away," she admits, emphasising the importance of family ties.

The series also features discussions about dating lives. Khloé Kardashian famously asks Kim, “Have you dated anyone privately?” to which Kim responds with a hint of playful candour, stating, “Let me just say this. I just can’t control myself.”

Kendall Jenner, for her part, addresses speculation surrounding her relationship with model Cara Delevingne. In the trailer, she insists, “There’s definitely a rumor that Cara and I dated, which is not true.” However, she adds with a light-hearted tone, “By the way, I have nothing against having sex with Cara. Never say never, right?”

The interactions among family members appear central to the upcoming season, with tensions indicated between Kourtney Kardashian Barker and the rest of the family. Kendall notes they do not see Kourtney often, and a family friend points out the misunderstanding surrounding Kourtney's relationship with Travis Barker, saying, “They think Travis is shielding you from the family, which is probably the biggest misread of the century.”

Also showcased in the teaser are humorous exchanges between family members. Khloé jokingly asks Kris if she might carry her next child, with an additional playful mention of family dynamics involving Scott Disick.

The official summary from Hulu describes this season as one focused on love, reinvention, and personal growth. It mentions that the family will be balancing their successful business ventures with challenging personal matters, including forging new relationships and mending past grievances.

The Kardashian-Jenner family initially gained fame with their earlier reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," which aired on E! from 2007 until 2021. After its conclusion, they quickly found a new platform at Hulu.

Khloé Kardashian, while celebrating her fragrance launch, expressed gratitude for the audience's support over the years. She noted that viewers have been with them for nearly two decades and remarked, "I don’t have a real end date in my head."

Khloé added, “We always say we want to keep doing it until it’s fun and until, like, if people still want to watch and enjoy, then why not? We have a lot of fun doing it.”
