He stated, "He [Basir] told me, ‘The Israelis are targeting both of us’. I replied, ‘Good, at least we will go to heaven together’ ... As soon as he stepped out of the tent, he was killed."

This incident occurred following an airstrike that also resulted in casualties in the Sheikh Radwan area of Gaza City. Medics confirmed that one strike targeted a civilian vehicle, killing one individual and injuring several others, including children.
