India Condemns Pakistani Airstrikes on Afghanistan Over Civilian Casualties

India's Ministry of External Affairs has condemned the recent airstrikes conducted by Pakistan in Afghanistan's border regions, which reportedly resulted in civilian casualties. External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that such acts of aggression against a sovereign nation undermine regional peace and security.

The airstrikes, which targeted areas in Kunar and Paktika provinces, were described by Taliban officials as having killed three civilians and injured four others. Pakistan's military claims the strikes aimed to eliminate militant hideouts, asserting that 28 militants were killed, a claim disputed by Afghan officials who reported civilian deaths instead.
