India's Boxers Excel at Commonwealth Games 2026, Assured Medals

At the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, India’s boxing team had a remarkable day, achieving five victories out of five matches and securing at least nine medals in total. The standout performers included Narender Berwal, Ankush Yadav, Sakshi Choudhary, Arundhati Choudhary, and Sachin Siwach, all advancing to the semifinals following flawless performances in their respective bouts.

Narender Berwal demonstrated commendable skill in the Men’s 90+kg quarterfinal, overcoming Michael Seko from Samoa by a 3-2 split decision. On the women's side, Arundhati Choudhary also secured her berth in the semifinals after a hard-fought victory over Morgan Henderson of New Zealand in the Women's 70kg category.
