Inauguration of KLE Medical College and Hospital in Hubballi

Union Minister Amit Shah was scheduled to inaugurate the KLE Jagadguru Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Moorusavirmath Medical College and the KLE Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Hubballi, Karnataka, but was unable to do so due to health complications.

The event took place on Saturday, where the Chairman of KLE Society and former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Prabhakar Kore informed attendees about Shah's absence. Kore stated, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who was the main attraction of this historic event, has remained in the hotel on the advice of doctors as he developed health issues.” Shah had arrived in Hubballi late on the previous night to participate in the event.

In Shah's absence, several prominent figures attended the inauguration, including Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, Karnataka Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil, former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, and Belagavi Member of Parliament Jagadish Shettar. Additionally, Sri Gurusiddha Rajayogindra Swami of Shri Jagadguru Moorusavirmath participated in the ceremonies.

Following the Hubballi events, Shah is scheduled to open the new headquarters building of the Sri Beereshwara Cooperative Credit Society in the neighbouring Belagavi district later in the day, assuming his health permits.

This inauguration marks an important development in the medical infrastructure of the region, aimed at enhancing healthcare accessibility for the local population.
