Hyundai Motor India Reports 17% Increase in April Sales
Hyundai Motor India Ltd announces a 17% rise in domestic sales, reaching 51,902 units in April 2026, marking a record for the month.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has announced that it recorded a significant increase in domestic sales for April 2026, achieving 51,902 units sold. This figure represents a 17% growth compared to the same month last year. The company highlighted that this achievement marks the highest number of sales recorded for the month of April since its establishment.

In addition to its domestic success, Hyundai reported that its exports stood at 13,708 units for the same month. The robust domestic sales were largely driven by the popular compact SUV, the Hyundai VENUE, which reached its highest-ever monthly sales of 12,420 units.

Hyundai Motor India continues to expand its footprint in the competitive automobile market, reflecting a growing demand for its vehicles. The company's innovative approaches in design and customer satisfaction are seen as contributing factors to its ongoing success in the Indian automotive sector.

Industry experts suggest that Hyundai's strong performance may also be indicative of broader trends in consumer confidence and automotive sales within the region. As the automotive market continues to evolve, Hyundai's proactive strategies appear to position it favourably for sustained growth in the future.
