On November 11, Esha Deol and Hema Malini were seen leaving the hospital after visiting Dharmendra. In the wake of numerous unfounded reports circulating online about Dharmendra's health, Esha Deol took to social media to clarify the situation. She affirmed, "The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery."

Hema Malini echoed her daughter's sentiments, condemning the false narratives being propagated. She stated, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."

Reports earlier in the day had suggested that Dharmendra had passed away, prompting an outpouring of condolences from fans and fellow actors alike. However, his family has confirmed that he is receiving treatment and is stable, dispelling the alarming rumours.
