Drishyam 3 Box Office Sales Exceed 200,000 in Malayalam Cinema
Mohanlal's Drishyam 3 surpasses 200,000 pre-sales, making waves in Malayalam cinema ahead of its release on May 21, 2026.

Mohanlal's much-anticipated film, Drishyam 3, is set to hit cinemas on May 21, 2026. Enthusiastic response from audiences has translated into impressive pre-sales figures. The crime thriller has recently achieved over 200,000 ticket sales on the ticketing platform BookMyShow, marking it as the sixth highest in terms of pre-sales in the history of Malayalam cinema.

As per a report by Filmy View, Drishyam 3 sold 202.71K tickets, with 25.88K of those tickets sold in just the last 24 hours. This surge in sales comes as the cinematic release approaches, fuelling excitement among fans. The film's release date coincides with Mohanlal's birthday, further heightening expectations for box office performance.

With five days remaining until its debut, there is speculation regarding whether the film will reach 500K ticket sales. Achieving this milestone would make Drishyam 3 only the second Malayalam film to do so, following the success of L2: Empuraan.

In addition to its impressive ticket sales, Drishyam 3 has surpassed the pre-sales figures of Dileep's Bha Bha Bha, which sold 202K tickets, and may soon surpass Malaikottai Vaaliban, which recorded 204K sales. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film co-stars Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil, contributing to the high interest among fans.

The substantial pre-sales figures indicate strong potential for the film's box office performance, as anticipation continues to grow leading up to its release. It remains to be seen whether Drishyam 3 will set new records in the Malayalam cinema landscape.
