Ranveer Singh's latest film, 'Dhurandhar', premiered in cinemas on December 5, 2025, and has received a positive reception, surpassing initial expectations within its first week. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film features a star-studded cast including Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal in significant roles. Given its large-scale production, the film was anticipated to perform well at the box office.
The film opened strongly, collecting ₹28 crore on its first day. On its second day, Saturday, 'Dhurandhar' saw a 14 per cent increase in earnings, bringing in ₹32 crore. Sunday proved to be particularly successful, as the film garnered around ₹43 crore, marking a remarkable 34 per cent rise from the previous day's collection.
Despite a decline on Monday, when the film collected ₹23.25 crore, it still maintained a solid performance. This drop, more than 50 per cent compared to Sunday, was expected as is common in post-weekend trends. However, the film rebounded on Tuesday, earning approximately ₹27 crore, and maintained this figure on Wednesday and Thursday, each day bringing in ₹27 crore.
By the end of its first week, 'Dhurandhar' amassed a total of ₹207.25 crore. As it entered its second week, the film continued to attract audiences, collecting ₹25.38 crore on its eighth day, which was a Friday. This brought the total net collection in India to ₹232.63 crore.
