Badshah Weds Isha Rikhi Six Years After Divorce from Jasmine Masih

Rapper and singer Badshah, whose real name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, has reportedly married Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi. This news comes nearly six years after Badshah's divorce from his first wife, Jasmine Masih, in 2020. The couple's wedding came to public attention when Isha Rikhi's mother, Poonam Rikhi, shared several photographs on Instagram that appeared to document the couple's wedding festivities.

The images depict Badshah and Isha Rikhi participating in traditional Hindu wedding rituals, surrounded by family and friends. In the photographs, Badshah is dressed in an olive-green kurta complemented by a beige stole and an ornate golden turban. Meanwhile, Isha Rikhi looks stunning in a vibrant red bridal outfit, embellished with intricate gold designs. She completes her look with traditional jewellery that includes a maang tikka, and her hands are adorned with mehendi, a form of body art typically used in Indian celebrations.

One of the shared clips shows the couple exchanging varmala, a ceremonial garland exchange, while another features them performing the pheras, which is the ritual of circling a sacred fire. Additionally, in a later image, Isha appears with sindoor—an indication of a newly married woman’s status—on her forehead. This suggests that some of the visual snippets may be from post-wedding celebrations rather than the key ceremony itself.

Following Poonam Rikhi’s post, the comment section was filled with congratulatory messages from fans and well-wishers. Many expressed their happiness for the couple, with some comments reading, "Very happy for you Isha…God bless you" and "Congratulationsssss aunty."

Notably, the exact date of the couple's marriage remains unclear, especially as Badshah was recently seen performing in London alongside fellow artist Nora Fatehi on March 22. Efforts by Hindustan Times to obtain a confirmation from Badshah’s representatives were met with silence.

Badshah was previously married to Jasmine Masih, with whom he shares a daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, born in January 2017. Reflecting on his past relationship during a podcast interview, Badshah stated, "I know for a fact that we both tried everything... We separated because it was not healthy for our child."

Prior to his marriage to Isha Rikhi, Badshah was linked to actress Mrunal Thakur, but he indirectly denied any romantic involvement. There were also speculations regarding a relationship with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir.

In recent news, Badshah has faced backlash following the release of his controversial track, 'Tateeree'. Many critics have condemned the song for its explicit lyrics and visuals, prompting Badshah to issue an apology on Instagram, stating he did not intend to offend anyone's feelings.
