Apple Launches Device Leasing Programme in Partnership with Klarna

Apple has introduced a new device leasing programme in the United States, in collaboration with the payments firm Klarna. The initiative, named Apple Upgrade, allows customers to choose monthly payment plans for a range of devices including iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches.

This programme is designed to simplify the process of upgrading technology for users, replacing the company's previous iPhone Upgrade Programme and iPhone Payments options. Customers can lease iPhones and Apple Watches through plans that span either 12 or 24 months. Mac and iPad leases are offered under longer terms of 24 or 36 months.

The financial commitment begins at $17.99 per month for an iPhone, while an Apple Watch or iPad can be leased for $11.99 monthly, and Mac leasing starts at $24.99 per month. The new programme aims to make it easier for people to access and enjoy the latest Apple technology without the upfront cost of purchasing devices outright.
