The government has said that it is making all possible efforts to evacuate all Indian nationals from Ukraine

Jammu & Kashmir’s Resident Commission in New Delhi has established a help desk at the New Delhi Airport in order to provide assistance to the students evacuated from Ukraine,

The officers of the Resident Commission are there to receive students from Ukraine at the airport to provide them all the possible support, officials said on Wednesday.

It's pertinent to mention here that so far two students, both girls, from Udhampur district have reached home safely.

An official said that from boarding to lodging all the arrangements were made by them for those staying over in the national capital. The J&K Government also provided them with the air tickets for their journey to Jammu and Srinagar.

Meanwhile, the parents of other students stranded in Ukraine protested on Wednesday against the delay in their evacuation. The parents claimed that the delay in evacuating their children from the war-torn region was jeopardizing their lives.

However, the district administration of Jammu said that the Government is making all the possible efforts to evacuate them soonest.
