Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a boost in infrastructure development in all sectors, including education.

In a move to boost infrastructure in higher education in Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Territory is constructing an auditorium, new classrooms and an additional library in the Govt. Degree College Ganderbal in central Kashmir.

According to a report by the news wire service ANI, with the completion of such infrastructure in the college, it will not only ease the problems of students, but also facilitate admission of more students as the new classrooms are being built.

Students also hailed the efforts of the government for showing keen interest in developing the higher education sector in the Union Territory.

The report also adds that since the abrogation of Article 370, development works are picking up speed in Jammu and Kashmir.
