'Hindi Divas' was celebrated on March 3 with a lot of gusto and enthusiasm in Kashmir University (KU) which witnessed a number of literary activities as well as celebrations to commemorate the memorable day. Kashmir University Vice Chancellor (VC) Talat Ahmad, who was the Chief Guest of the event, appreciated Department of Hindi for conducting it.

''It is very important occasion for the Hindi department, which he said is very old department of the university. “It is an honor that we are organising Hindi Divas which actually was scheduled on September 14, 2019 but due to uneasy situation could not be organised,'' he said while addressing the participants of the event at Gandhi Bhawan of the Kashmir University.
