The tournament was organised by the JK Amateur Soft Tennis Association in collaboration with the JK State Sports Council

The 3rd JK Soft Tennis Championship organised by JK Amateur Soft Tennis Association in collaboration with JK State Sports Council concluded here today at Gindun Stadium Srinagar.

A number of players from various districts of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the three day event.

Member Sports Council Rouf Ahmad Tramboo was the chief guest on the occasion while Commanding Officer CRPF, Alok Sharma was the guest of honour.

The dignitaries distributed medals among the winners and runner ups of the tournament.

In the Junior girls category, Sidhani Singh won the gold medal, Duaa got the silver while Aaira clinched the bronze medal.
In the Junior boys category, Arnav vaid clinched the gold medal, Hamza got the silver while Rishab koul and Soham bhat bagged the bronze medal.

In Sub-Junior boys, Shulin koul won the gold medal, Arsh Aabas got the silver while Mohammad Imaad and Hardeep Singh clinched the bronze medal.

In Sub-Junior girls, Aaiza Vakil won the gold medal, Shreemai got the silver while Tahreem was awarded with bronze medal.
In the Senior men’s category, Indu Bhushan won the gold medal, Sajad Ahmad the silver while Asif Altaf and Sameer Ahmad got the bronze medal.

In the Senior women's category, Sumaira won the gold medal, Khushboo the silver while Simran got the bronze medal.
In the Girls doubles Junior category, Sidhani Singh and Tahreem won the gold medal while Aaiza Vakil and Shreemai Bhatt got the silver medal.

In the Boys doubles sub-Junior category, Madhavendra Singh and Shulin koul got the gold medal while Imad and Hardeep Singh Sudan got the silver medal.

The tournament was conducted under the supervision of General Secretary JK Amateur Soft Tennis Association, Dr. G H Hassan.

Addressing the sportspersons, Rouf Tramboo appreciated the participating players and exhorted them to put in their mind and soul in their game with all vigour and enthusiasm to make Jammu and Kashmir proud.
