The state is at the top of the medals tally at the sports meet being held in Jammu

The players from Jammu and Kashmir showed composure and promise to add 9 more medals to take their tally to 19 medals, with 13 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze and secure 75 points on the penultimate day of ongoing 65th National School Games in Sqay Martial Art at Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu, here.

Delhi was at the second spot with 29 points and Maharashtra was at the third spot with 26 points.

Under-14 (Boys) 33 kg: Lachit Murah of Assam got Gold, Ishant Kumar of Punjab won Silver and Himanshu Alone from Maharashtra and Saqib Ashraf Bhat of Jammu and Kashmir clinched Bronze.

Under-14(boys) 41kg: Mohammad Isa of Jammu and Kashmir bagged Gold, Manan Singh of Delhi clinched Silver, while SK Jawed of Odisha and Ayush of Madhya Pradesh clinched Bronze.

Under-14 (Girls) 27 kg: Adena Gowhar, J&K won Gold, Mehak, Delhi, bagged Silver, while Janki Rathore, Gujarat and Srishti, Punjab won Bronze medals.

Under-14 (Girls) 35 kg category: Angel Deokule, Maharashtra, Kangna Sagar, Punjab, Aqsa Qadir, J&K and Sweety, Delhi won the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.

Under-14 (Girls) 43 kg category: Aaliya Zehara, J&K, Sayee Chandryan , Maharashtra, Neha, Delhi and Ramandeep Kaur, Punjab secured Gold, Silver, Bronze and Bronze respectively.

Under-17 (Boys) 44 kg category: Neeraj Giri from Vidhya Bharti, Dhruv Mishra from Maharashtra, Sagar Kumar from Delhi and Rohit Shrivas from Madhya Pradesh won Gold, Silver, Bronze and Bronze respectively.

Under 17 (Boys) 52 kg: Wajid Manzoor from Jammu and Kashmir, Dharmender Kumar from Delhi, Raja Nayak from Odisha and Divyesh Kewtw from Maharashtra won Gold, Silver, Bronze and Bronze respectively.

Under 17 (Boys) 56 kg category: Mufeed Shafi of J&K, Yug Choudhary of Delhi, Rohit Khagik of Rajasthan and Raja Singh of Odisha clinched Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.

Under-17 (Girls) 44 kg categories: Hamiya Altaf from Jammu and Kashmir, Khushbu Tiwari from Madhya Pradesh, Anisha Tawape from Maharashtra and Rajeshree Dalabehera from Odisha secured Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.

Under 17 (Girls) 48 kg categories: Durdana Yousuf of Jammu and Kashmir, Chetali Solanki of Vidhya Bharti, Reveena Ghodeshwar of Maharashtra and Roshani of Delhi succeeded in winning the Gold, Silver and Bronze medal respectively.
