A total of 21 boys of various ages and three teachers enjoyed and admired the natural beauty of the place

In an effort to reach out to the young budding minds of the area and to give them an opportunity to experience the beauty of Kashmir during winters, Army camp Gagharpura organised a Capacity Building Tour to Gulmarg on 26 Dec 2019. The CBT was flagged in the presence of Gulam Md Dar, Tehsildar Narbal.

A total of 21 boys of various ages and three teachers enjoyed and admired the natural beauty of the place. They also visited Maharaja’s Palace which gave them an insight into the rich Kashmiri legacy, history and Kashmiriyat.

The participants were grateful and happy to be a part of the CBT and requested the Army to organize more such events in future. The flagging in culminated with tea and interaction with children and their parents. The opportunity was also utilised to discuss the importance of studies and hard work for a brighter future. This event will go in a long way to build confidence of young generation and to broaden their horizons.
