Yash's Film 'Toxic' Releases English-Language Trailer Ahead of Debut
The English-language trailer for Yash's 'Toxic' unveils the film's action-packed narrative set in colonial Goa, scheduled for release on August 26.

Prime Media Studios has secured the North American distribution rights for "Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups," an upcoming action thriller directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film showcases its English-language trailer, marking the first comprehensive footage available for public viewing. It is poised for a coordinated global release on August 26.

The narrative centres on themes of power, betrayal, and personal consequences, set within a fictionalised Goa during the final years of Portuguese colonial rule. Yash, the film's lead actor, features in a dual role as Raya and Ticket. His characters navigate the complex underworld of the city, employing both violence and strategic manipulations.

Alongside Yash, the film boasts an ensemble cast including notable actors Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi, each portraying characters influenced by competing motivations and fluctuating loyalties.

The film's production combines contemporary design elements with an international cinematic aesthetic. Renowned stunt coordinator J.J. Perry, celebrated for his work on the "John Wick" and "Fast & Furious" franchises, has crafted the action sequences in a style that fuses elements from both Indian and global filmmaking traditions.

In addition to his role as lead actor, Yash took on the responsibilities of co-writer and producer through his company Monster Mind Creations, collaborating with producer Venkat K. Narayana under the KVN Productions banner. Upcoming projects for Yash include a significant adaptation of the Indian epic "Ramayana," where he will portray the demon king Ravana, representing an investment into global storytelling initiatives.

"Toxic" is set to release across several territories in multiple languages, including Kannada, Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. The film will be screened in North American theatres in both English and Kannada, with additional dubbed versions available for audiences.
