Vivo has unveiled its latest V70 series smartphones in India, featuring advanced specifications, premium design, and competitive pricing.

Vivo has officially introduced its new V70 series smartphones, the Vivo V70 Elite and the Vivo V70, in India. The launch event, held on February 19, 2026, marks a continuation of the brand's focus on premium features and performance in the competitive mobile market.

Both the Vivo V70 Elite and V70 come equipped with a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display that boasts a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, ensuring a vivid and smooth visual experience. The V70 Elite operates on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, offering configurations of up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. In contrast, the Vivo V70 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and provides options of up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Both devices run on OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16, and they promise four generations of operating system updates along with six years of security updates. This longevity in software support is aimed at providing users with a future-proof investment.

A standout feature of the Vivo V70 series is its battery capacity. Both models come with a robust 6,500 mAh battery, coupled with a 90W fast charger included in the box, allowing for efficient charging. Additionally, the phones hold an IP68 and IP69 rating, indicating their water and dust resistance, making them suitable for a variety of environments.

In terms of photography, the Vivo V70 Elite and V70 both feature a ZEISS-tuned 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP telephoto camera that supports 3x optical zoom. For selfie enthusiasts, there is also a 50 MP front-facing camera.

The Vivo V70 Elite is offered in three shades: Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black. The pricing for the Vivo V70 Elite starts at ₹51,999 for the 8 GB/256 GB configuration, while the 12 GB/256 GB variant is priced at ₹56,999, and the top-tier 12 GB/512 GB model retails at ₹61,999. Similarly, the Vivo V70 starts at ₹45,999 for the 8 GB/256 GB storage version, and is available for ₹49,999 in the 12 GB/256 GB configuration. It can be purchased in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow.

The smartphones will be available for sale starting February 26, 2026, through Vivo’s official website, Flipkart, Amazon, and various partner retail stores. This launch is expected to cater to a premium segment of smartphone users who seek enhanced performance and advanced photography capabilities.
