As 2026 approaches, smartphone enthusiasts are set for an exciting period with numerous upcoming launches from major manufacturers worldwide. These new devices are expected to emphasise performance, display quality, battery life, and camera capabilities.

OnePlus Turbo 6 Series OnePlus is preparing to launch its Turbo 6 series in China, with models such as the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V. Reports from Chinese social media indicate that the standard Turbo 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, featuring a 1.5K display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. The device will also boast a significant 9,000mAh battery, supporting 80W wired charging and 27W reverse charging. The Turbo 6V, on the other hand, is rumoured to include a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, driven by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 system-on-chip. The colour options for the Turbo 6 series include Light Chaser Silver, Lone Black, Wild Green, Fearless Blue, and Nova White, with configurations offering up to 16GB of RAM and 12GB of storage.

Honor Power 2 The Honor Power 2 is designed specifically for users seeking exceptional battery performance. This device features an impressive 10,080mAh battery, allowing for up to 22 hours of short-video playback and 14.2 hours of gaming on a single charge. It supports 80W wired and 27W reverse charging. The smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite processor and is expected to showcase a 6.79-inch LTPS flat display with a 1.5K resolution and peak brightness of 8,000 nits. The rear camera setup will comprise a 50-megapixel main sensor alongside a 16-megapixel front camera. The available colours include Black, Orange, and White.

Oppo Reno 15 Series Oppo is anticipated to launch its Reno 15 series, which will comprise the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini. These smartphones will feature Aerospace-Grade Aluminium frames and HoloFusion Technology. The Pro model is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the standard and Pro Mini models will come with slightly smaller displays and advanced glass protection. The devices will be available in various colours, including Cocoa Brown, Sunset Gold, Glacier White, Twilight Blue, and Aurora Blue. All models will offer IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

Realme 16 Pro Series Realme is ready to launch its 16 Pro series on January 6, 2026, which will include the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro Plus. These devices are noted for their premium designs and outstanding camera capabilities, featuring a remarkable 200-megapixel camera sensor. The Pro Plus variant will also include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The Realme 16 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity processor, while the Realme 16 Pro Plus will utilise the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. Although pricing details are not yet available, the new series is expected to be priced above the previous Realme 15 series. Alongside these phones, Realme is also likely to unveil the Realme Pad 3 in India, featuring a 12,200mAh battery and a 2.8K display.

Redmi Note 15 Xiaomi’s Redmi brand is set to launch the Redmi Note 15 5G on January 6, 2026, coinciding with the Realme 16 Pro series release. The Redmi Note 15 5G will include a 108-megapixel primary camera with the capability for 4K video recording, housed in a slim 7.35mm body and featuring a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This device will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and equipped with a 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Pricing details are yet to be disclosed, but the previous Redmi Note 14 was launched at a price of Rs 17,999. Additionally, Redmi is expected to present the Pad 2 Pro 5G in India, which will offer a QHD+ display, support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, and a 12,000mAh battery, catering to multimedia enthusiasts.
