Tragic Lorry Accident Claims Life of Advocate Near Keesara Toll Gate
An advocate has died following a lorry accident at Keesara toll gate in Andhra Pradesh, leading to significant traffic disruption.

A tragic road accident occurred near the Keesara toll gate in the NTR district of Andhra Pradesh, resulting in the death of B. Srinivasa Rao, a 47-year-old advocate from Hyderabad. The incident took place on Saturday when a lorry carrying fly ash reportedly overturned onto Rao's car while he was travelling back to Hyderabad from Vijayawada.

According to officials, the driver of the lorry lost control of the vehicle, likely due to brake failure. The lorry hit a divider before rolling over, crushing the BMW sedan that Rao was in. Emergency services were alerted by toll gate personnel, prompting a two-hour rescue operation involving cranes and heavy machinery to extricate the victim from the wreckage.

Traffic was severely disrupted in the area as onlookers gathered to witness the aftermath of the accident. Eyewitness accounts highlight the chaotic scene as rescue operations unfolded. Despite the swift response from authorities, Rao was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident has prompted discussions about road safety and the regulations surrounding heavy vehicles in the region.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident, including a thorough examination of the vehicle involved and the driver's history. Local officials have also reiterated the importance of maintaining road safety measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
