Bakshi emphasised the courage of young aviators, stating, "This is necessary for India; young girls and boys take this risk for mother India. An enquiry will be conducted to make amends." The Indian Air Force reiterated its commitment to the bereaved family, stating, "IAF deeply regrets the loss of life and stands firmly with the bereaved family in this time of grief.
