Teen Allegedly Drugged and Assaulted at Bengaluru Party
A 19-year-old student claims she was gang-raped after being intoxicated at a villa party in Bengaluru. Two men have been accused.

A 19-year-old psychology student has accused two men of drugging and sexually assaulting her during a private gathering at a villa in Bengaluru. According to police reports, the survivor, originally from Tirupur in Tamil Nadu, had been living in Bengaluru for her studies for about five months.

The incident allegedly took place on February 14, when the woman was invited to a party by Dixon Sando, a 21-year-old man she had met through Instagram. They had established contact in January and had met several times before the incident. After attending college, the student had dinner with a friend before accepting the invitation to the gathering at the villa, known as Rex Villa, in the early hours of February 15.

At the event, she was introduced to Nikhil, 35, the second accused. Reports suggest that after some time at the gathering, Dixon and Nikhil compelled her to ingest a pink tablet, leading to her feeling dizzy and disoriented. The survivor alleged that, while incapacitated, she was sexually assaulted in a room at the villa. She regained partial awareness during the incident and found herself confined in the room following the encounter.

In her statement to police, the survivor mentioned that the two men threatened her life should she disclose the incident or seek help from authorities. After the assault, she was reportedly left near a mall by the accused. It was revealed that Sando had previously filed a complaint on February 21, claiming the woman, along with someone identifying as Imran from a local news outlet, had attempted to extort money from him by threatening to publish defamatory content.

This counter-complaint was lodged just before the survivor reported the alleged sexual assault. Police are currently examining both allegations to clarify the sequence of events. The survivor initially refrained from reporting the incident due to fear instilled by the threats but sought medical attention on February 17. After discussing the matter with her brother, she decided to file a complaint.

An FIR has been filed at the Amruthahalli Police Station against both Dixon Sando and Nikhil, citing relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to sexual assault and criminal intimidation. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to uncover further details regarding the case.
