Suriya's Film Scene Trailer Surpasses 14 Million Views Ahead of Release
Suriya's Scene trailer surpasses 14 million views, marking Nazriya Nazim's return to Tamil cinema after a decade. The film releases on November 6.

The trailer for Suriya's upcoming film, Scene, has attracted significant attention, amassing over 14 million views on YouTube following its release by Sony Music South. This marks a noteworthy moment for actress Nazriya Nazim, who is making her return to Tamil cinema after nearly ten years.

Scene is directed by Jithu Madhavan, who is also making his debut in Tamil cinema. The film features Naslen K Gafoor, an actor known for his roles in Malayalam cinema, and he will portray a negative character for the first time in his eight-year career.

The three-minute trailer opens with Suriya's character lounging on a sofa after resigning from the police. This decision becomes a topic of curiosity among his colleagues, especially when he is seen engaging in dance and cooking an omelette. When questioned by a senior officer about his abrupt departure from the police force, Suriya's character reveals ambitions of entering politics, drawing a subtle parallel with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay.

Nazriya Nazim takes on the role of Suriya's house help, her character, however, is showcased with more depth, featuring scenes of her performing martial arts and action sequences. This will be Nazriya's first Tamil film since Thirumanam Enum Nikkah in 2014.

At a promotional event, Suriya expressed his enthusiasm about working with Nazriya, stating, "I have always wanted to work with Nazriya. We had asked her to act in three of my films earlier, but she rejected them. It was only on the fourth attempt that she agreed."

The anticipation surrounding Scene is heightened by its release scheduled for November 6, 2023, promising a blend of crime and comedy that aims to capture the interest of audiences.

As noted, Jithu Madhavan is well known for his previous work, including directing Fahadh Faasil in the upcoming film Aavesham, set to release in 2024. Over the years, Nazriya has built a reputation in the industry, and her return, paired with Suriya's established star power, has set high expectations for the film's performance at the box office.
