Shriya Saran Discusses Support from 'Drishyam 3' Team After Motherhood

Shriya Saran, a prominent Indian actress, recently expressed her gratitude towards the team of the upcoming film 'Drishyam 3' for their support during her transition into motherhood. In a recent interview, Saran shared how her colleagues went out of their way to accommodate her needs as a new mother throughout the shooting schedule.

According to Saran, the crew often arranged for her to leave set earlier than the other cast members, allowing her to balance her responsibilities at home. She noted that sometimes she would depart even before her co-star, Ajay Devgn, who plays the lead role in the film. This considerate adjustment allowed her to manage her time more effectively, especially in the initial stages of motherhood.

Saran highlighted the camaraderie among the cast and crew, emphasizing that they made her feel valued and supported during this challenging yet rewarding phase of her life. The teamwork cultivated on set played a significant role in easing her transition back into filming after giving birth.

The actress also took the opportunity to commend Ajay Devgn for his impressive acting skills and dedication. She characterised him as a highly intense actor whose expressions are primarily conveyed through his eyes. “Ajay works with his eyes. His eyes are very powerful,” Saran remarked, underscoring the depth he brings to his performances.

Moreover, she praised the director of the 'Drishyam' series, Abhishek Pathak. Saran explained that Pathak invests considerable effort in refining the screenplay, which speaks to his commitment to storytelling. She noted, “The process he follows is commendable.”

Reflecting on her role as Nandini, Saran remarked that, despite her familiarity with the character, the evolving plot still presented surprises—highlighting the intricacies and developments that make the narrative engaging.

'Drishyam 3' continues the story of Vijay Salgaonkar, portrayed by Ajay Devgn, who must navigate a new police investigation that threatens his family’s safety. The film brings together an ensemble cast, including notable actors such as Tabu, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Prakash Raj, and is expected to be released on October 2, 2026. This instalment follows the success of its predecessors, which have garnered substantial acclaim for their gripping storytelling.

Thus, Saran’s reflections not only underline her appreciation for her colleagues but also provide a glimpse into the supportive environment fostered during the production of 'Drishyam 3.'
