Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra Pricing Revealed Ahead of Launch
Recent leaks have indicated the anticipated pricing for Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in the United States. According to industry sources, the Galaxy Z Fold8, featuring 256GB of storage, is expected to retail at approximately $1,899. The higher-end model, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, is projected to be priced at $2,099, which is $100 more than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold7.
Samsung is reportedly finalising its pricing strategy in preparation for the expected launch of these devices on July 22, during the company's Galaxy Unpacked event in London. Both foldable models will incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, designed to enhance performance.
Details about the devices suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold8 will have a 5.5-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch main screen. It is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup and a battery capacity of 4,800mAh. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is anticipated to include a larger 5,000mAh battery, a triple rear camera system comprising a 200-megapixel main sensor, as well as a design similar to that of its predecessor.
The leaks also suggest that these devices have recently surfaced in South Korea, where a Reddit user shared an image showing them displayed in a Samsung retail outlet. This revelation has been backed by an employee from the store, confirming their authenticity.
This latest information aligns with previous reports, giving industry enthusiasts and potential buyers a clearer picture of what to expect from Samsung's upcoming foldable offerings.
