Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro Unveiling Set for February 2026
Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro during its upcoming Unpacked event on February 25, alongside the Galaxy S26 devices.

Samsung has announced the upcoming release of its Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, scheduled for unveiling on February 25, 2026, at the same event where the Galaxy S26 smartphones will be introduced. Recent rumours and images have started circulating, revealing a number of design changes for these new wireless earbuds.

The images, allegedly showcasing dummy units of the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro, indicate that there will be a notable shift towards a metallic finish on the stems. This design choice appears to be aimed at differentiating Samsung's products from competitors, particularly Apple’s AirPods.

In terms of design, the Galaxy Buds 4 will maintain a semi in-ear style, similar to previous iterations, while the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro will adopt a fully in-ear approach, featuring silicone tips that the Buds 4 do not include. The standard model is positioned similarly to AirPods, whereas the Pro variant aligns with the AirPods Pro.

Speculation suggests that the Buds 4 will be equipped with 42mAh batteries, while the Pro version is expected to have 57mAh batteries. Both models will introduce a new pinch-and-hold gesture feature alongside an Interpreter Mode, potentially enhancing user experience through more intuitive controls.

Regarding pricing, reports suggest that the Galaxy Buds 4 may retail for approximately €179, and the Buds 4 Pro could be priced at around €249. These models represent Samsung's continuous effort to innovate in the wireless audio market, with expectations that the new series will provide enhanced features and sound quality.

Further leaks have hinted at additional capabilities for the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 series, including improvements in microphone technology and smart audio features. These might include a real-time hearing assistant and the ability to automatically switch between noise cancellation and ambient sound modes. This adaptive feature could allow users to experience seamless transitions in different environments.

While details like head gesture control have also emerged, allowing users to navigate playback without physical contact with the earbuds, official confirmation from Samsung is still awaited. As the launch date approaches, excitement continues to build around how these new models will compete in an increasingly crowded market, which includes offerings from several established companies.

For now, consumers will need to wait until the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event to learn more about the specifications and features of the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro, as the next wave of wireless audio technology is set to be unveiled in early 2026.
