Actor Salman Khan attended the funeral of his close family friend, Kumod Raney, on Monday. The event, which took place in Mumbai, saw Khan visibly emotional as he paid his final respects. He was joined by several members of the Khan family, including his mother, Salma Khan, his step-mother, Helen, and his siblings, Sohail Khan and Arpita Khan Sharma.

Photos and videos shared on social media depict the somber atmosphere, highlighting the close-knit nature of the family during this time of grief. Salman Khan arrived at the funeral site accompanied by security personnel and close associates. The heartfelt moments captured the actor's sorrow as he dealt with the loss.

This bereavement follows closely on the heels of another significant loss for Khan, as he mourned the passing of friend Sushil Kumar just weeks prior. In a heartfelt tribute on social media, Salman described Sushil not merely as a friend, but as a brother who had been an integral part of his life for over 40 years. Reflecting on his losses, he remarked on the inevitability of death, noting that good individuals often leave the world earlier than expected while others remain to fulfil their duties.

Salman Khan, who has been known for his emotional candour, will next be seen in the film "Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace," directed by Apoorva Lakhia, which also features Chitrangada Singh. Additionally, he is currently working on a project tentatively titled "SVC63," directed by Vamshi Paidipally and co-starring actress Nayanthara, produced by Dil Raju.
