Salman Khan Faces Pressure to Apologise Following Shooting Incident
Ramesh Bishnoi warns Salman Khan of consequences unless he apologises to the Bishnoi community after a shooting related to actor Tiger Shroff.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been urged to apologise to the Bishnoi community following a shooting incident involving fellow actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai. Ramesh Bishnoi, the cousin of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, issued a stark warning to Khan, stating that failure to apologise could lead to 'dangerous consequences'.

The call for an apology comes in light of events following the shooting on Sunday, when three men allegedly fired at a vehicle associated with Tiger Shroff in Juhu, a suburb of Mumbai. Although Shroff escaped without injury, his driver was reportedly hurt in the incident. The police confirmed that the attackers fired three rounds as Shroff was departing from a local football practice.

According to Mumbai Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg, the driver was taken to Nanavati Hospital for treatment. Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with many individuals seeking refuge amidst the panic that ensued.

Ramesh Bishnoi, while speaking to the media, clarified that he was conveying the sentiments of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang rather than expressing his personal views. He stated, 'We have stopped him and want to warn him again that anyone who works with Salman Khan could face consequences.' The remarks reflect a broader anger within the Bishnoi community regarding Salman's actions, which they feel have disrespected their religious sentiments.

It has been reported that Lawrence Bishnoi had previously offered a path toward resolution by suggesting Salman come forward and apologise. However, Ramesh indicated that the actor has not yet agreed to this.

The shooting incident has raised alarm given the background of hostility between the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and Salman Khan, particularly related to a long-standing blackbuck poaching case dating back to 1998, during the filming of the movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'. Salman Khan was convicted in connection with this case in 2018 and has consistently maintained his innocence while appealing the verdict.

Following the shooting, police in Rajasthan apprehended three suspects, including a minor, at Kota railway station as they were reportedly fleeing the scene. The capture came after intelligence suggested their presence on a train en route to Jaipur. The suspects were identified as Rehan, alias Sukka, from Sonipat in Haryana, and Hrithik Kurmi, alias Roshan, from Begusarai in Bihar.

In a video that emerged shortly after the shooting, an individual claiming to be connected with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the attack. They stated that the assault was meant as a warning to Tiger Shroff regarding his affiliation with Salman Khan. The authenticity of the claims made in the video has yet to be verified.

The incident has amplified concerns regarding the safety of individuals associated with Salman Khan, particularly in light of previous threats from the gang. As the situation evolves, the Bollywood community will closely monitor the developments, especially regarding any potential response from Salman Khan.
