Realme 16T 5G Launched Alongside Buds Air 8 Pro and Watch S5
Realme has officially launched the Realme 16T 5G smartphone in India, targeting consumers in the premium segment. The launch took place on 22 May 2026, alongside the Realme Buds Air 8 Pro and the Realme Watch S5. The Realme 16T 5G has a 6.7-inch LCD display, offering an impressive refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits.
The device is powered by an 8,000 mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging as well as 15W reverse charging. It operates on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and buyers can choose between configurations of up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The smartphone runs on Realme UI 7.0, which is based on Android 16.
In terms of photography, the Realme 16T 5G features a 50 MP main camera using a Sony IMX852 sensor coupled with a 2 MP monochrome lens, alongside a 16 MP front camera. Additionally, the device boasts water and dust resistance with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.
The Realme Buds Air 8 Pro accompanies the smartphone, offering high-resolution sound and 55 dB active noise cancellation through a sophisticated six-microphone setup. The earbuds include a dual-driver system and support the LHDC 5.0 codec, connecting via Bluetooth 6.1. Users can enjoy up to 50 hours of total playback time, with an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance.
Furthermore, the Realme Watch S5, with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, offers 1,500 nits of peak brightness and independent GPS capabilities. It can track various health metrics such as heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and stress levels, and supports over 110 sports modes. The watch features 5 ATM water resistance and boasts a battery life of up to 20 days.
The Realme 16T 5G is available in three colours: Aurora Green, Starlight Red, and Starlight Black, with a starting price of ₹29,999 for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version. The Realme Buds Air 8 Pro is priced at ₹6,999, while the Realme Watch S5 is available for ₹7,999. This product launch reinforces Realme's ongoing strategy of providing high-quality, feature-rich devices at competitive price points in a rapidly evolving market.
