Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram Announce Pregnancy on Anniversary
Bollywood couple Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram reveal they are expecting their first child on their second wedding anniversary.

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and his wife, Lin Laishram, have shared the exciting news that they are expecting their first child. This announcement coincided with their second wedding anniversary, marking a significant moment in their relationship. The couple celebrated this milestone by posting a heartwarming photo on Instagram, where they are seen sitting by a bonfire in the woods, dressed in matching beige outfits and smiling at the camera. Their caption read, "Two years of love, adventure, and now a little wild one on the way."

Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram’s romance began in the creative environment of Naseeruddin Shah's theatre group, Motley, where they forged a friendship before eventually marrying in 2023. Their wedding took place in Imphal, Manipur, in a traditional Meitei ceremony, which honours the cultural heritage of Lin Laishram. Randeep embraced the local customs and attire, while Lin looked stunning in her traditional bridal attire adorned with intricate gold jewellery.

Speaking about their decision to marry in Manipur, Randeep Hooda expressed his appreciation for the local traditions, stating, "It feels very good. I felt it was only respectful to come and marry in the bride’s tradition. However, I have heard that in Meitei love marriages, the groom has to sit for a very long time. So, that’s something, but I am looking forward to the ceremony and traditions. I want to experience my life partner’s culture – that’s why I am here."

Lin Laishram is known for her roles in films such as "Om Shanti Om" (2007), "Mary Kom" (2014), "Umrika" (2015), and "Rangoon" (2017). She continues to engage in various creative projects alongside her acting career. Meanwhile, Randeep Hooda has recently appeared in the film "Jaat," where he played the antagonist opposite actor Sunny Deol. He is set to feature in the upcoming American action-adventure comedy titled "Matchbox," directed by Sam Hargrave and starring well-known actors such as John Cena and Jessica Biel, with a release date scheduled for 2026.
